Looking forward is important. Making plans for the future, both for business and for life. But right now, it feels equally important to look back and see what I have accomplished during the year.

When I turned up in the morning to the Royal Automobile Club in order to photograph Kirsty’s bridal preparations, I quickly sent out a thought to the weather Gods, trying to persuade them to hold off the rain just for this day. The past weeks had seen an endless downfall of rain and just a few days earlier I had to photograph Kirsty and Luke’s pre wedding photos underneath an umbrella (which actually worked out quite well since they had a London themed wedding). The plans for the outdoor cocktail hour was looking shaky, but I can tell you, the sun was shining bright and warn the entire day – and not one drop of rain.

This very cool French-Caribbean couple are getting married this summer at the Notre Dame de France church on Leicester Square in London in two weeks time. The future of my brand… What do I see in the future for Cecelina Photography? As a freelancer and the sole portrayer of your business, you often have to stop and think about where you are headed. My first years in building up a photography business I worked hard and sometimes lost sight of what I wanted to do and who I wanted to be. Now, I think I have a clear plan on what I want for Cecelina Photography (even though I realise that might change!) and myself.

This is a boho bridal photo shoot I organised a while ago, a little sneak peek to the images we created. I worked with an incredible team who put together the styling for the shoot we did on the roof tops of an East London studio. Our brief was boho bridal ad I wanted to shoot in a vintage style that still was quite modern. I have to hold on to the rest of the images for a little while as they might be published somewhere else, but as soon as I have the clear I will show you all the stunning images we took!
