A London Portrait Shoot Experience
October is seldom a month known for splendid weather for the Londoners, but for this London themed portrait shoot someone was smiling upon us. Erin is a singer/songriter originally from Australia, who were looking for images for her album cover. She opted for the make up transformation and spent the morning being pampered by make up artist Gurvinder Hunjan, who did a splendid job, not only on the make up, but also to make Erin feel special and taken care of. I believe it is never just about the images. It is equally about the experience of your portrait session, having a laugh, being both silly and serious. Being taken care of and guided by me and captured at your best, smiling, laughing or cheekily posing – I know myself how difficult it can be to stand in front of the camera!

Portrait Photography is so versatile it never stops to amaze me how much variation can come out of one portrait session and how much the model is alternating the way you photograph. Accoridng to me, a good photographer needs to listen and interpret your model’s style, look as well as personality, in order to make the portrait photo shoot tailored to them and the images to reflect their personal style.
