Finnish Church Wedding London | Niina + Antti
Niina + Antti planned a runaway wedding to London, a city close to their hearts as Niina used to live and study here. Without disclosing anything about their plans to their family and friends back in Nokia, Finland, they flew over with 4 of their closest friends and family and got married in the Finish church London, or the Lontoon Suomalainen Merimeskirkko!
Runaway Finnish Church Wedding London
This Finnish church wedding London was my first Finish wedding as well as the first wedding for 2013! To date, one of the most fun weddings I have ever photographed, Niina and Antti and their friends and family felt like friends and we spent a couple of hours capturing their personalities in the area around London Bridge and Tower Bridge. In a week of love, their wedding day took place the same week as Valentines, on Niina’s 27th birthday, while being 27 weeks pregnant with their first child. Without telling their family and bringing only four wedding guests, they surprised everyone with their London elopement. They are such lovely and friendly people and I know you agree Niina looked stunning in her Asos dress, with make up and hair done by the talented Adele Rosie (www.rosieblush.com). The ceremony was short, very personal and had the wedding party laughing and smiling all the way through.
The wedding portraits afterwards included trainers, running, jumping, throwing the bouquet, a Union Jack flag, post box, London tourists and so much laughter I hope is reflected in the photographs, to everyone who wasn’t there. Congratulations again Niina and Antti, it was so lovely to meet you and I wish you all happiness in your life together!
